Jamie Vardy was born in Sheffield in England on 11 January 1987. He is a famous player of football who plays as a striker for Premier League Club Leicester City. His full name is Jamie Richard Vardy. College Life Career:

At the age of 16, Vardy started his senior career with Stocksbridge Park Steels, after being released by Sheffield Wednesday and started breaking into the first team in 2007 and in 2010, before joining Northern Premier League club FC Halifax Town, he spend three seasons there in 2010.

He won the club’s “Players’ Player of the Year” award due to scoring 25 goals in his debut season, and then in August 2011, he shifted to Conference Premier club Fleetwood Town for an undescribed fee. In his first season, he scored 31 league goals at his new team and again won the team’s “Player of the Year” award as they won the participation.

For a championship going to be held in May 2012, Vardy signed a contract for Leicester City with a fee of £1 million and helped the team to win the Championship in 2014. He also breaks Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record in the 2015–16 Premier League season, Vardy scored in eleven continuous  Premier League matches and was also voted for the Premier League Player of the Season and as Leicester won the title, therefore he was also voted as the FWA Footballer of the Year.

In the 2019–20 season, he won the Premier League Golden Boot and becomes the oldest player to win the award. He became the first player to play in every round of the competition, from the initial to the final stage by playing in the 2021 FA Cup Final.

International Career:

Vardy started his international career debut in June 2015 for the England national team and he was selected for the UEFA Euro 2016 and the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Vardy was first called up for the first time for a friendly match against the Republic of Ireland and a UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying match against Slovenia by the English national team on 21 May 2015. Once again, Vardy was called up for the matches against San Marino and Switzerland in UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying by the England squad on 30 August and he was selected in the starting line-up.

On 26 March 2016, Vardy scored his first international goal. Three days later he again scored, the opening goal in a 2–1 defeat to the Netherlands at Wembley.

At UEFA Euro 2016, Vardy made his tournament debut, in England’s second group match on 16 June. During the tournament, there become a serious argument between Vardy and fellow striker Rooney according to media rumours.

In the 23-man England squad, he was named for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. He was used profitably during the tournament and as a result, England reached the semi-finals of the World Cup for the third time in their history.

Vardy stepped out from the England national team on 28 August 2018.
