Christopher Michael Beard was born on 18 February 1973. He is a famous basketball coach of America. He is the head coach of men’s basketball team at the University of Texas at Austin. Before this he coached at Texas Tech, Little Rock, Angelo State, and McMurry.
Beard passed his graduation from high school from McCullough High School in The Woodlands situated in Texas. In 1995 he passed his graduation with a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology and he was also a manager at Texas under former Longhorns coach Tom Penders.
In 1998, he served as a graduate assistant at Abilene Christian University and from where he received a Masters of Education degree. The Texas Tech Red Raiders scored the highest NCAA Tournament runs in school history under Beard’s watch.
2019 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship Game held in which Red Raiders won a school-record 31 games against the Virginia Cavaliers. Beard was recognized as the 2019 AP National Coach of the Year.
Carrer of Chris Beard:
From 1997 TO 1999, Beard wasassistant coach at North Texas. Later on, from there, Beard gets hired to Fort Scott Community College as a head coach and where he coached the time at his best and as the result team get its first winning season in eight years. Seminate State College hired him in 2000 as a head coach and there in only one year he finished the college at the 14th rank in the country.
Later he was associated as a head coach in Texas Rech where he work under Bob Knight. During his time, the Red Raiders made four NCAA tournament. And there he spent his 10 years of life and experience and also stated as the ten years of his key to success.
Beard joined in Arkansas- Little Rock as a head coach on 8 April 2015. For his efforts, Beard was named as Sun Belt Coach of the Year. He later again joined Texas Tech on 27 March 2016 and led the team to a huge success and upward. On 29 April 2019, he signed a six year contract of $4.5 Million per season and through this he became the 3rd highest paid basketball coach in the country. Beard was hired as 25th Head coach of University of Texas on 1 April 2021.

Leslie Beard is the wife of Chris Beard. She was born on 21 June 1974 in Texas. She passed her school from McCullough High School and later she joined US state university for her graduation. She also owns a luxury jewellery store and also has an online presence of her for her customers. Both the couple gets married to 31 August 1996. The couple survived by three daughters named Avery, Margo and Ella. Both graduated from the same high school. The couple gets divorced a few years ago and now Beard is engaged with his girlfriend and fellow sports coach Randi Trew.
Beard gets arrested early in the morning on 12 December 2022, because of making non violence on a family or household member, according to the police.
