A student at Utah Tech University died after falling accidentally from a fifth-floor balcony on Sunday morning as told by the university and Utah Tech Police officials. 18-year-old Peyton Hall, a resident of South Jordan fell down from the 5th-floor balcony in the night around 2:30 A.M. along with his room partners and friends.
At the time of the incident, the dorm is a little bit busy so the other students saw or heard the situation and after the Hall fell into the centre courtyard. the police officer Bridge explained the incident ” at the time of the event the inside of the horseshoe, our police officer was standing opposite side of the horseshoe so he responded very quickly and reached at the incident very fast”. we are among the very first responders at the event told by the Utah Tech Police Department the Gold Cross Ambulance take care of the hall but the hall was not alive till that time and was Produced dead on the spot. The police officers called that “this is a very tragic accident” and added that there is no sign of any other factors involved in this matter.
Ali Threet, Assitant Vice President of Student Affairs and Utah Tech University Dean of Students said ” Hall was a very serious student, he started his classes in the month of august and was also very active in the field of campus, I met his coach often also attended the events and writing Center. he had also very good terms with his friends as well as roommates. The University contacted the Hall family. Threet added “our condolences go to his family”
Also, a message is told by the police officers “we are extremely sorry for their loss and our Condolences to his family and friends and them also on the impacted student of the campus. If we talk about the dorm includes six rooms along with shared common living and kitchen spaces.
To prevent any emotional effect on Hall’s friends and roommates who are with him at the time when he fell, a mobile crisis team respond and still stays there to support them also they are planning to return on Monday. she further added “I know this event affects a large number of students but we want to make sure that no one is suffering from much mental stress we are trying to counselling all needy persons and ready to meet with new students.
