The KSU Police Department reactivated the bicycle patrol program Oct.
16.
A 40-hour course in Police Cyclist Techniques was required for
officers to ensure safety and efficiency of the patrol. Exercises
during the course included a relay race ar
ound the campus green on Oct.
17. The course required officers to ride approximately ten to 15 miles
per day throughout the week of training. The class consisted of seven
KSU Officers as well as officers from the Marietta Police Department,
Georgia State University and Fulton County Police.
