Fellow student killed
Sadly, Stephen Werner was recently killed in a car accident. The
accident happened on March 3 at Wade Green and I-75. At this time, no
other information is known.
Virtual career fair
International students have the opportunity to participate in an online career fair until May 16. Any international student who is engaged in Curricular Practical Training, Optional Practical Training, or who wants to pursue a job in his/her country is invited to participate. This event is free for qualifying international students. For more information, please visit http://careerctr.kennesaw.edu .
Wildlife habitat restored
Over the break, KSU students, in collaboration with the National Wildlife Federation, headed to New Orleans. There, the volunteers helped repair what Hurricane Katrina had devastated. They built nesting boxes for birds, planted trees, and removed invasive species that would otherwise overpower the native plant life.
