Calling all former Sentinel editors and staff

This October The Sentinel turns 40 and KSU Student Media, in collaboration with University Archives and the KSU Alumni Association, is planning a celebration and newspaper homecoming. We would like to involve as many of the former editors as possible.

This October The Sentinel turns 40 and KSU Student Media, in collaboration with University Archives and the KSU Alumni Association, is planning a celebration and newspaper homecoming. We would like to involve as many of the former editors as possible.

KSU in Black & White: 40 Years of The Sentinel is part of KSU’s Homecoming Week 2006 and is scheduled for Saturday, October 28, 2006. The Sentinel Reunion will begin with the Alumni Brunch at 10:30 a.m. in the new Convocation Center, followed by a reception for Sentinel alumni upstairs in the Hospitality Suite. Dinner for past & present newspaper staff will be at the Alumni House. In between will be tours, displays and much reminiscing. If you have any ideas or suggestions for our October events, please let me know. Additionally, we would appreciate your assistance in these areas:

1.) Soon we will be presenting photos from KSU archives via the web and could use your help identifying them as to year, event and even individuals. We will let you know when the website is active and invite you to visit.

2.) We’ve added a page of Sentinel alumni profiles on our Editor’s Notes page at: http://www.kennesaw.edu/student_life/sentinel/sentinelalumni_notes.shtml. Come see what some of your fellow Sentinel staffers have to say!

Only the information you wish to share is presented; your name, year(s) and position(s) with The Sentinel, and other general information you choose to share, along with comments and photos.
