Hurry up and wait
I‘ve had a problem for the last few weeks. I could not decide which
political candidate seemed best suited in the upcoming presidential
race. People asked me who I preferred and I honestly had no idea. I
began wondering if I was politically undereducated. I started searching
through every news source I could find to see what views each candidate
held. After a few weeks of worrying, I had a startling moment of
clarity. The election is well over a year away. Perhaps my time would
be better spent just waiting it out and seeing who comes out on top.

Parking permits handed out like candy
What I’m about to say will anger a lot of people and frankly, I don’t
care. I think that standards to obtain a handicapped parking pass need
to be raised.

Lights, Camera, Action
The KSU Underground Theatre and Film Movement held its first
official meeting on Tuesday March 13, in the Student Center. The
group, which was started by KSU students Matthew Katis and Brian
Forrester, is geared towards helping student-written works…

The Art Station at Big Shanty Park, which has been showcasing KSU
exhibits since 2004, opened its doors to new artwork from various
studio classes this month.

Student receives national scholarship in German studies
KSU’s own Kenneth Posey was a recent recipient of this years
coveted Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals
Scholarship.

Philosophy program may be too far in the making
KSU offers a diverse array of majors, from accounting to
psychology. With so many choices, some students ask, “Why not
philosophy?”

Internets: Social Networks
The internet is becoming an integral part of people’s lives, mainly
because of the way it allows people to interact with one another. The
common buzzword thrown around for this communication is “social
networking.” We already know of and use a few of these sites, including
Myspace and Facebook. But there are a few dozen other networking sites
like this. Some of them are quite interesting, too.
